There’s no doubt that the entertainment industry has been one of the many sectors that have been hit hard by COVID-19 pandemic.

Brenda Nanyonjo, the CEO of the Miss Uganda Foundation states that due to the  coronavirus pandemic, they cannot host the annual Talent Africa Miss  Uganda pageant this year.

“We have no option, except to postpone it to next year," she said.

"Until then , Oliver Nakakande will continue her reign as Miss Uganda as will other title holders for one more year," she further noted.

"On a positive note though, 2021 will mark 10 years of the Miss Uganda franchise under Kezzi Entertainment and we look forward to a big celebration as we crown a new queen," Nanyonjo said.
