Celebrity affair as city tycoon lavishes wife at birthday bash

City tycoon Amin Musoke knows how to make a statement, and this time, his wife Dorah Nakitto was the star of the show.

The businessman, known for splashing money on musicians, TikTok personalities and other entertainers, reportedly organised a multimillion-shilling surprise birthday bash for Nakitto as she turned 32.

The lavish celebration took place on Saturday, October 24, at Qyano Hotel in Buziga, drawing a crowd of musicians, celebrities, friends and family who gathered to celebrate the birthday girl.

There was, however, one notable absentee: the man who reportedly footed the bill.

Musoke, whose name is familiar in Uganda’s entertainment circles thanks to his support for artistes such as Bruno K, Lil Pazo, Sheila Price and Endless, was conspicuously missing from the celebrations, leaving his wife to enjoy the occasion with her guests.

But if his absence took some of the shine off the party, the guest list ensured there was no shortage of star power.

Reflecting on her decade-long relationship with Musoke, Nakitto disclosed that it was the first time in the ten years they had been together that she had celebrated her birthday surrounded by friends, rather than spending the day alone.

The revelation added an unexpected emotional layer to a party otherwise defined by glitz, celebrity appearances and the generosity reportedly behind it.

While the tycoon’s absence may have raised a few eyebrows, his wife remained the centre of attention as guests celebrated her new age.
