Arua One FM books best choirs for Christmas carols

In a bid to bring Christmas carols closer to the people, the St. Augustine Melody Choir in Arua City is set to conduct grand Christmas Carols through the airwaves of 88.7 Arua One FM this evening from 7:00pm.

Godfrey Onyuthfua, the Chairperson of St. Augustine Melody Choir, says the choir has prepared a series of Christmas carols aimed at spiritually preparing Christians to remember the birth of Jesus Christ.



Meanwhile, Irene Moriku, one of the Music Directors of St. Augustine Melody Choir, says Christmas carols are a reminder of Christ’s victory.



On his part, Robert Otubo, the Chairperson Organising Committee for the carols, says the event is also meant to support the choir’s projects and to give back to Christians for their continued support over the years.
