Upon completing O’level, Robert Zizinga enrolled at Bukalasa Agricultural College in 2009 to pursue a national certificate in crop production and upgraded to a national diploma in crop production and management in 2010.At the college, he says, there were practical lessons from which he learnt modern farming methods.After graduating with a national diploma in agriculture in 2012, he applied for a vacancy as an agricultural advisory service provider, under National Agriculture Advisory Services (NAAD)“I was hired on a contract basis and was attached to Kamira sub-county as an advisory service provider for the NAADS programme in Luwero district.”He held that job for two-and-a-half years, earning a monthly salary of sh750,000, of which, he says he always saved sh300,000.In 2012 he ventured into entrepreneurship by setting up a small nursery for seedlings (mangoes, coffee and oranges).
