Ugandan Archbishop Kiwanuka buried after 59 years

Kiwanuka was finally buried (inside Lubaga Cathedral) on Wednesday. His tomb is at the very place where his remains were being kept prior to his burial, in the right wing of the cathedral, just near the Uganda Martyrs altar.

Catholic priests and prelates Ssemogerere (left) and Kasujja (right), look on as the casket containing the remains of Kiwanuka is lowered into the grave.
