GUANGZHOU - Uganda has strengthened its trade and investment profile following a high-impact participation at the just-concluded China Import and Export Fair in Guangzhou, China.
The fair took place on May 1-5.
In a statement, Uganda is said to have used the global platform to promote exports, attract investment, and deepen economic cooperation, particularly with China.
The Ugandan delegation, led by Juju Nsababera, emphasised that the East African nation is positioning itself as a competitive supplier of value-added, high-quality products to international markets.
Exhibitors from sectors such as coffee, shea butter, and artisanal crafts attracted strong interest from global buyers, with several securing direct sales and export orders.
