As Uganda gears up for the forthcoming 31st Uganda International Trade Fair, set for October 2-12, 2025, at the UMA grounds, Ugandan manufacturers have been asked to position their products for the market during the trade fair.
Running under the theme "Sustainable Industrialisation for Inclusive Growth, Employment and Wealth Creation", the trade fair is organised by the Uganda Manufacturers’ Association (UMA), supported by the STI Secretariat, UNISTEEL and Total Energies.
Addressing participants during the launch of the pre-event activities of the trade fair on September 2, 2025, UMA chairman Aga Sekalala said that the fair is a golden opportunity for Ugandans to showcase their very best products that are made in Uganda.
“It is a golden opportunity to proudly showcase the very best of "Made in Uganda" – a vibrant tapestry of creativity, ingenuity, and world-class quality woven by our own hands. Our local manufacturers, many of whom started their journey right here at UGITF, are now making significant strides on the global stage, proving that Ugandan excellence knows no bounds. This Trade Fair is their ultimate stage,” Sekalala said.
