Govt procures sh1.8 trillion World Bank funding for countrywide Internet connectivity
Charles Oleny Ojok, the National Planning Authority (NPA) Deputy Executive director, has disclosed the World Bank loan facility will be used to take the Internet to every parish around the country, using fiber optic cables.
Over 400 participants, who included Government officials, program partners, industry experts, startups and corporates, took part in the one-day event.
