MOMBASA - After an hour and fifteen minutes, Bride & Groom honeymoon winner Francis Alvin Mweru touched down at Moi International Airport, Mombasa Kenya.

Mweru is in Kenya for a two-night luxurious pampering with his partner, Phionah Watsemba after emerging winner of the grand prize, a two-night honeymoon destination to the Sothern Palm Resort in Diani-Mombasa after the 14th edition of the three-day Bride & Groom expo in June this year.

It is the first time the couple goes flying, therefore, savoring every moment.  

Mweru, like a perfect gentleman, took care of capturing the special moments with Watsemba, both in still photos and videos.

Prior, hand in hand, the couple explored every check-in point at the Entebbe International Airport. 

On arrival at Moi International Airport, Mombasa Kenya for their honeymoon trip, Mweru walked side by side with his partner Watsemba for a once-in-a-lifetime date abroad.

Like all first-time travelers, the couple was nervous and excited at the same time. 

They couldn't keep calm because they were flying out of the country on an all-expenses paid trip by Uganda Airlines and Twende Uganda to Southern Palms Beach Resort in Diani, Kenya.

“The flight was surprisingly smooth,” Mweru said, adding, “I have heard of turbulence, but we didn't get any. It was a smooth ride. There were just a few shakes when taking off and landing. But even elevators have those.” 

Watsemba loved the first-time experience on an aircraft, saying, “The flight was great, but I would get a bit scared every time it would shake in the clouds.”
