The period that comes after giving birth can sometimes be difficult for first-time mothers. Because of the challenges they face during this period, they require someone to help them recover from the stress that comes with giving birth.

In the past, such therapy used to be given by relatives, but in today’s world, people are too busy to offer such help.

It is why Bountiful Minds, a private company, is offering such services at the Bride and Groom Expo at an affordable fee.

Harriet Adikins, a team leader at Bountiful Minds based in Kisasi, a Kampala suburb, says: “We offer post-natal services to first-time mothers and busy mums.”

Adikins says their offers include providing the right nutrition, especially diets that stimulate breastmilk production and prevent constipation.

Additionally, they also teach her to take care of her baby. “We teach her how to breastfeed the baby and also bathe it,” she says.

For all their services, the mother does not have to worry about moving places.

Adikins says they provide their services at the comfort of her home.
