There is a lot we can learn from the martyrs

One thing that stood out for me is a statement that Faupel used quite often, ‘and when their duties allowed, they attended instruction from the missionaries’. ‘When their duties allowed’, they had learned to give to Caesar what belonged to Caesar... and to give God everything. We too have to be diligent at our professional tasks. God counts on us to work well, because work done well is a way of praying.
