"Our total unmet demand will then rise from 3.7 Million Cubic Meters per year to 1,651 Million Cubic Meters per year in this period under climate change; and in most months’; water shortages will be enormous," Cheptoris stated.

Without proper investment in water supply and sanitation, Uganda will continue to experience water scarcity, according to the Minister of Water and Environment, Sam Cheptoris.
