The Nigerian delegation was welcomed on Wednesday by agriculture ministry Under Secretary Mary Aacha Orikiriza on behalf of the permanent secretary.

They interacted with members of the Senior Management Committee, who made presentations on Uganda's unique models and strategies for agricultural sector development.

Other places that the team plans to visit include the National Animal Genetic Resources Centre and Data Bank (NAGRC&DB).

On Tuesday, they visited the National Forest Authority, according to a statement from the agriculture ministry.
