MAHABA initiative, stakeholders collaborate to address tick control in Uganda
Dr Anna Rose Ademun, the Commissioner of Animal Health and Chief Veterinary Officer (CVO) in Uganda, emphasised the need for a national-level approach to tick control and the importance of using physical barriers to separate and zone acaricides.
To support farmers in managing tick infestations, the MAHABA Initiative pre-launched the TickAcademy app during the stakeholder convening.
