The Harvest Money Expo, a Vision Group initiative, is finally here this weekend, from February 27 to March 01, at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
Nearly everything is set, and exhibitors are only waiting for the days to tick off to D-day.
Owing to its magnitude, Vision Group has teamed up with sponsors to ensure the expo’s success. The sponsors include: the Kingdom of the Netherlands, ENGSOL, Pearl Bank, CASE, aBi, Tunga Nutrition, and Champrisa International Limited. The others are: Uganda Development Corporation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, and the European Union.
The expo is a win-win for exhibitors and the public who will flock to Kololo’s grounds for opportunities to learn, forge partnerships, buy machinery, and generally engage with all players in the agricultural sector and its supporting sectors, such as banking and the industrial arm.
Some of the exhibitors expressed their expectations of the expo, saying it will be fruitful.
Sprintech, a dealer in irrigation solutions, will participate in the expo as an exhibitor. Sprintech’s Patricia Kanyerere spoke highly of the expo, saying, “Harvest Money Expo is more than an exhibition — it is a platform for transformation. We expect meaningful engagement with progressive farmers, agribusiness investors, cooperatives, and development partners who are ready to scale their productivity.”
Echoing Kanyerere was Angel Rusoke of Njojo Agro-based Industries, another exhibitor at the expo.
“We are excited to showcase our work, exchange knowledge, and learn from industry experts and fellow exhibitors. We also hope to create new partnerships, understand market needs better, and find opportunities that will help us grow while supporting agricultural development and value addition in Uganda,” she said.
For a fee of only sh 10000, expo visitors will have a field day at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds this weekend.
