The President of Sao Tome and Principe, Carlos Manuel Vila Nova, is on a two-day working visit in Uganda.

According to the Presidential Press Unit (PPU), the visit is at the invitation of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

President Manuel, who arrived at Entebbe International Airport at 2:00am on Thursday, was received by the Director General of External Security Organization (ESO), Ambassador Joseph Ocwet and Air Force Commandant, Lt. Gen. Charles Okidi.

During his stay, Manuel is expected to hold bilateral talks with President Museveni.
