Table leaders NEC and Kitara meet today in a mouthwatering FUFA Big League clash at Coffee Grounds Bugolobi, Kampala.

The two sides are tied on 37 points although Kitara FC has a better goal difference of 11.

In the reverse fixture, Kitara won 2-0 in Hoima but NEC FC forward Jonathan Ssewankambo is confident they will get their revenge.

“We are hungry and rallying for revenge against Kitara FC,” Sewankambo told New Vision ahead of the game.

“The team is motivated and looking forward to claiming three points in tomorrow's game. We have all it takes to win as long as we stick to their coach's plan. Today's game is a final. We have only one way out of it. We want to be top and that can only be achieved by winning.”

According to Sewankambo, there is the pressure at top of the table, but he says that can be only tamed by winning their games.

“We have to keep winning our games that's the only way we shall handle the pressure. The moment we draw or lose then it gets worse and pressure will mount,” he said.

“The table is tight, the moment you drop points, positions switch. We have all reasons to work hard and we shall do so to emerge victors.”

Sewakambo scored the only goal as NEC played to a one-all draw against Mbarara City at Kakyeka Stadium last week.
