Total E&P Uganda Limited has made a call for the supply of food to feed people affected by the Tilenga resettlement process in three districts in the Albertine Graben region.

The company seeks to feed people in the districts of Hoima, Buliisa, and Kikuube. It is looking for people or companies that can supply cassava, maize, and sweet potatoes, beans, maize flour, cassava flour, and cooking oil.

As it is preparing to develop oil production infrastructures in the region, the company is also looking for tree nursery service providers, livestock improvement services, agriculture extension services, dry food ration administrators, and monitoring and evaluation services.

It is also looking for alternative vocational training and job seeker support services and small business support within the Tilenga project area.

The services are to be executed as part of the Tilenga Project’s Resettlement Action Plans.

Interested applicants must have five years of experience in the provision of similar services, among a host of other requirements as detailed in the New Vision paper of today.
