Heathens are the only Nile Special Rugby Championship side that is still unbeaten this season with only two games to end the regular season.

Captain Paul Epilo has attributed this performance to teamwork and availability of players, among others.

“At the start of this season, we set up a plan for every player to have enough playing time, and this has paid off,” Epilo stated.

On Saturday, Heathens host Impis at Kyadondo before closing the regular season with the Kyadondo derby against Buffaloes next Saturday.

Heathens top the championship log with 33 points. They have lost only two points when they shared the spoils against Hippos in Jinja.

However, Heathens is not ready to settle for less this season after fumbling last season.

“After the regular season, we shall regroup again and plan for the play-offs,” Epilo added.
