MITYANA - Passengers travelling in a Link bus on the Kampala-Fort Portal Highway were this morning (Friday) attacked by armed robbers who made off with their belongings at a place called Kigalama in Mityana district.
The victims are currently camped at Mityana Central Police Station.
The Mityana District Police Commander (DPC), Martin Okoyo, has confirmed the incident and referred this newspaper to the Wamala regional police spokesperson, Rachael Kawaala, for details.
When contacted, Kawaala requested more time to put the facts together and get back to us.
