Dismas Yeko signs huge contract with Adidas

Dismas Yeko has officially signed with Adidas, Europe’s biggest sportswear company.

The deal has been announced by his Spanish Sports Management Agency, Xurica’s CEO, Monica Pont Chafer.

“It is over the line and we are grateful. From now on, they will take full responsibility for his international competitions which is what a young talented athlete of his nature needs. This is good for Dismas and perfect for his development,” Pont exclusively told New Vision Sports.

Without mentioning how many exactly, Pont confirmed that it was a multi-year deal.

The contract will see the reigning World University Cross–country champion wear Adidas headwear, jerseys, training and competition shoes, wrist bangles and bags, and other related sports gear.

Yeko is also set to enjoy a commanding degree of privileges including competition fees, appearances at events outside Uganda.  

Besides the remarkable world gold medal, he won the other weekend in Aviero, Portugal, the Ndejje University student is the reigning back-to-back cross country U20 champion.

Quito Oding, his camp coach is rallying the Bukwo born international to step up his game and keep improving to continue attracting such opportunities.

“Dismas is in his own league right now. A hardworking runner with great intelligence, but he has to bravely maintain his spirit.
