115 new COVID-19 cases registered

A total of 115 new COVID-19 cases have been registered in Uganda.   

Results of COVID-19 tests done on 24 September 2021 confirmed the new cases. The cumulative confirmed cases are now 123,181. 

The breakdown of the new cases include contacts and alerts from Nebbi (23), Kampala (23), Gulu (9), Kitgum (6), Bududa (5), Ngora (4), Kabale (3), Omoro (3), Budaka (3), Kalungu (3), Wakiso (3), Arua (2), Mbale (2), Serere (2), Mbarara (2), Moyo (2) and Soroti (2). 

Other cases include; Kamuli (1)Tororo (1), Kabarole (1), Iganga (1), Ntungamo (1), Mukono (1), Kiryandongo (1), Nabilatuku (1), Agago (1), Busia (1), Masaka (1), Lira (1) Koboko (1), Sironko (1) Amuru (2) and Wakiso (1). 

Uganda as of September 24, 2021, administered a total of 1, 807, 767 doses of COVID-19 vaccines to its population.
