Tycoon Mulowooza succumbs to Covid-19

Mulowooza owned the Mulowooza and Brothers Limited, a building and civil engineering contracting company incorporated in Uganda since 1986 and named after him.

The business community in Kampala is mourning the death of  James Kibuuka Mulowooza the proprietor of Mulowooza and Company Engineering and Construction Ltd

Mulowooza succumbed to Covid-19 at Mulago National Referral Hospital where he had been admitted.

He was also the proprietor of Ssese Habitat Resort Beach (SEHAB) and has been managing the Kalangala ship and succumbed to covid-19 on Tuesday evening.

"He has been at the forefront in the fight  against Covid-19 and we were surprised when he tested positive and taken to Mulago where he unfortunately passed away," a family member told New Vision,

Family members who spoke to the New Vision said the deceased will be buried on Thursday in Kalangala.

Mulowooza owned the Mulowooza and Brothers Limited, a building and civil engineering contracting company incorporated in Uganda since 1986 and named after him.

It was founded as a civil engineering company in 1979 and is registered with the Ministry of Works and Transport (formerly Ministry of Works, Housing and Communications), and also with the Uganda National Association of Building and Civil Engineering Contractors (UNABCEC), as a CLASS A+ contractors establishment.
