718 students graduate at Uganda Martyrs university

Uganda Martyrs University has today ((Friday, December 18) held its 26th Graduation Ceremony.
The function at the university's main campus at Nkozi, in Mpigi district, was the first-ever virtual function in the history of the university.
A total of 718 students were awarded Masters and Bachelors Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates in programmes such as Agro Ecology, Monitoring and Evaluation, Organic Agriculture, Business Administration, Education, Public Health, Clinical and Psychological Counselling, Development Economics, Information Systems, Information Technology, Architecture, Environmental Design and Development Studies, among others.
The colourful function was presided over by the Chancellor of the University (who is also the Chairman of the Uganda Episcopal Conference), the Rt Rev Prof Joseph Antony Zziwa.
He was assisted by the university's Vice-Chancellor, the Rev Prof John Chrysostom Maviiri.
The Managing Director of Centenary Bank, Fabian Kasi (who was the guest of honour), delivered his address via video link.
