Insurance Regulatory Authority awards winners

The Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA) will be unveiling the shortlist of the successful finalists competing in the inaugural Annual Insurance Awards2020 in Uganda.
Alhaji Kadunabi, the IRA CEO said these awards are meant to recognize leadership, inventiveness and ingenuity in products and services designed for risk management professionals in Uganda.
Insurance Innovation Awards2020 winners will be announced on Friday December 18 2020 at the Serena Hotel Kampala during the awards gala.
"The Insurance Innovation Awards have been introduced to acknowledge and reward the exceptional work and the results gained by the trailblazers of the corporate domain, in the wake of COVID- 19 and the ever-increasing competitive market, "Kadunabi said.
Kadunabi said the awards seek out the leading lights of the business industry, looking for those whose creativity, commitment, experience and strong leadership has helped them achieve success in an increasingly challenging corporate climate.
"These awards recognise and honour the most innovative individuals and insurance companies along with their C-Level executives, whilst rewarding remarkable success in innovation in all its forms, " Kadunabi said.
Global Consulting Services are the coordinators of these awards for and on behalf of IRA. The awards will be given on merit and are awarded to commend those most deserving for their innovations, inventiveness, ingenuity and hard work, distinguishing them from their competitors and proving them worthy of recognition.
The shortlisted players are: Most Innovative Insurer 2020 for life insurance; Jubilee Life Insurance Company of Uganda, ICEA Assurance Company of East Africa, Prudential Assurance Company. Most Innovative Insurer 2020 for non-life insurance are; Excel Insurance Company, Alliance General Insurance Company of Africa, ICEA General Insurance Company of East Africa.
The most innovative Insurance Broker 2020 are; Legacy Insurance Brokers, Minet Limited, Kenbrigt Insurance Brokers. The most innovative banassurance agents are; DTB Bank, Housing Finance Bank. The most innovative insurance agent 2020 is Turaco Insurance Limited.
