Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has signed a new four-year partnership with sports kit manufacturers Umbro.
They consequently become the official technical sponsors of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) for all the nine national teams.
"I and the team at FUFA have dedicated our time and brains to take Ugandan football to the pinnacle of African Football. Therefore, our Association with a World Sports Kit Manufacturing Brand like Umbro is pointing in the right direction," FUFA president Moses Magogo stated.
"We bring to our loyal fans replicas of trending designs and top quality," said the FUFA president.
"We are pleased to be partnering with the Federation of Uganda Football Associations and their affiliated teams", said Umbro South Africa's CEO, David Ricketts.
The partnership will see Umbro supply both Uganda men and women national teams with high-performance match kit, training, and off-field apparel.
In 2018 FUFA unveiled MAFRO as the new national team jerseys manufacturers ahead of the Cranes' participation in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
They also became the sole owners of the Uganda Cranes jerseys after registering all their trademarks in a bid to fend off those selling counterfeits.
They also signed a memorandum of understanding with Mafro and set up 8 distribution points which have been dealing with the sales agents across the country.
The same is likely to continue with the new partners.
