Musician Shafik Walukagga alias Fik Fameica is expected in court on Tuesday over composing a song that allegedly undermines women.

Fameica was dragged to court by one Prasidia Nagasha over his song "property" which is said to be undermining and violating the rights of women and girls in Uganda.

Famaica was sued alongside his producer Martin Musoke alias Artin Pro for producing the song, and Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) for failing to protect Ugandans from the harmful content.

In her lawsuit filed before the High Court, Nagasha sought the court's declaration that the said song demeans, undermines, and discriminates against women and girls in Uganda.

Nagasha also sought an order compelling Fik Famaica and Artin to publish a public apology to all women and girls in all newspapers of wide readership, radios, and televisions in Uganda and on Youtube.

The case is set for hearing on Tuesday before Justice Musa  Ssekaana at Twed Towers, in Kampala.
