Minister Mbayo's son to be buried tomorrow

IAN Mawanda, the deceased son of the Minister for Presidency Esther Mbayo, will be buried on Tuesday in Busalamu, in Luuka District.

The family says that there will be a funeral service, today (Monday, November 30, 2020), at All Saints Cathedral, Kampala; starting at 10:00am.

This is part of the communication made by the father of the deceased Eng. George Wilson Mbayo and the mother, Esther Mbayo; in regard to the burial preparations.

 By press time, New Vision hadn't ascertained the cause of death, for Mawanda.

Mbayo was appointed to her current position in June 2016, replacing Tumwebaze, who was at the time appointed to the Ministry of Information Technology and Communication; before later joining that of Gender.
