Nov 23, 2020

Roast and Rhyme is a quarterly event on the Ugandan social scene and organizers Swangz Avenue have committed to showcasing  the best Ugandan talent at the event however the boozy, meaty and sunny affair has just like many events been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

However with many choosing to use a virtual experience like Nyege Nyege and other festivals, Roast and Rhyme has maintained a regulated physical event in the wake of COVID-19.

The event normally attracts thousands of revellers and this means with the current COVID-19 guidelines by the Ministry of Health it would not be able to accomodate such huge numbers. The organizers have therefore chosen to take a new direction to ensure continuity of the event.
