NRM flagbearers told to support one another

All the NRM flag bearers in Kaberamaido district have been handed the NRM manifesto manual, flag and briefed on how they should go about with their campaigns during the COVID-19 challenge.

Richard Gulume Balyainho an official from the NRM secretariat briefed the candidates in the constituencies of Kaberamaido and Ochero.

Balyainho said all the flag bearers have a role to campaign for the national chairman, President Yoweri Museveni who is also the NRM flag bearer as a presidential candidate.

Gulume asked the candidates who included the parish/ward councillors up to the members of Parliament to know that the NRM party has its base at the grass root.

He said the NRM party was strong and it has proper ways of leading the country.

Ali Hassan Emetu Eloru the chairperson of the NRM party in Kaberamaido district said they have already scored with 75 NRM candidates going through unopposed in local government positions and they now want to win the remaining positions.

Emetu said all the NRM supporters are supposed to be calm and follow the guidelines given by the government.

However, some of the candidates asked the NRM top leadership to attend to their concerns early enough.

The NRM candidates were asked to support one another and to guide the voters with the right information such that opposition parties can not sway them away with false information.
