Local artiste Kasasa involved in accident

A local artiste, Disan Kasasa, has been admitted at Masaka Hospital following an accident in which he was knocked by a bodaboda.

The accident occurred at Mpungwe Trading Centre, 5km from Masaka City towards Kampala.

Kasasa was crossing the road shortly after performing at Fred Mukasa Mbidde's political rally in the same trading centre.

Mbidde, an East African Member of Parliament, is now aspiring for the Nyendo-Mukunge constituency parliamentary seat on the Democratic Party ticket.
 
Kasasa's colleague known as Omuyaaye Ganja together with residents picked Kasasa who was seriously bleeding from the head and rushed him to the hospital.

Reports from the hospital indicate that Kasasa is recovering steadily.
