Betway renews Express sponsorship to the tune of sh420m

Online sports betting company Betway has today extended its partnership with Express FC for another year worth sh420m.

The deal that was unveiled in a function held at Hotel Africana, Betway will handle all Express kits and merchandise, stadium naming rights, players and technical team support including sh500,000 win bonuses for away matches, gym access and skill development among others.

According to Betway Uganda country manager Adellah Agaba, they want to see Express return to winning ways.

"Our decision to extend the Express FC sponsorship contract is an indication of our faith in the club. We aim to continue to work towards transforming Express with the goal of making the club a title contender in the coming years," stated Agaba.

Express president Kiwanuka Kiryowa hailed Betway for the support and said the club is ready to excel in the 2020/21 season.

"I want to thank Betway for the support they have given. It shows that we are a valuable brand. With the changes put in place, I am confident we are competing favourably well. I call upon our fans to support both us and our sponsors," noted Kiwanuka.

At the same function, Express unveiled next season's kit that included the three different jerseys and a training kit among others.
