Alex Kakuba (Cova Piedade, Portugal)

Alex Kakuba is a Ugandan international soccer player. He currently plies his trade at Segunda Liga in Portugal where he plays for Cova Piedade. Before signing for his current team, the soccer talent has also been featured for several Portuguese sides namely Estoril.  His international profile also includes stints at PAS Gianna, Esperance de Lagos, Covilha, and Feirense.  He signed for Cova da Piedade in the summer of 2019.

Denis Masinde Onyango (Mamelodi Sundowns, South Africa)

Another Ugandan player who plies his trade aboard is the Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper, Denis Onyango. He is also the captain of the Uganda national soccer team, Uganda Cranes. Born in 1985, Onyango has been earned an international reputation as a formidable shot-stopper. He has signed for several South African sides namely Bidvest Wits where he made four appearances between 2013 and 2014.  The goalkeeper also played for Mpumalanga Black Aces in 2010. He also featured for Supersport United.

Ronald Mukiibi (Ostersunds FK, Sweden)

Ronald Mukiibi is a Ugandan international player currently playing Ostersunds in Sweden. It is noteworthy that despite being born in Sweden, the player has always represented the Ugandan national team at the international level. Mukiibi who is 28 years has also signed for BK Hacken, Qviding FIF and Gunnilse IS.

Joseph Mpande (Hai Pong, Vietnam)

Born on 24th March 1994, Joseph Mpande is a Ugandan International who plays for the Vietnam side, Hai Phong. The player was born in Kampala, Uganda, and has had a remarkable side in the Asian country.  He started his playing career at SC Villa in Uganda before featuring for senior sides Vipers SC between 2011 and 2015.  He also played for Horizon Football Club in Myanmar.

Michael Azira (Chicago Fire, USA)

Ugandan Michael Azira is an international soccer talent who currently plays for the MLS side, Chicago Fire. Born on 22nd August 1987, the 33-year old soccer player has equally had a remarkable senior career. At the international level, he has mostly signed for several MLS teams such as Seattle Sounders FC, Colorado Rapids, Colorado Springs, Montreal Impact, and Mississippi Brilla.
