Oxfam in Uganda now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for Lump Sum Contract TD 20/ 004 / ARUUG for Construction of GBULUKU ATUNI Water Supply System in Rhino settlement and Host Community in Madi Okollo District.

Oxf am is an internati onal NGO confederati on which works in over 90 countries to fi nd lasting solutions to poverty, inequality and injusti ce. In Uganda, Oxfam started work in the 1960s and since then it has continued implementi ng both development and humanitarian projects to support practi cal innovative ways for people to lift themselves out of poverty and thrive. The Government of Uganda in partnership with the Federal Republic of Germany are funding a Refugee Response Fund (RRF) in Northern Uganda in the Districts of Yumbe and Arua.

The RRF was established to support sustainable and longerterm soluti ons and to address the immediate needs of refugees and host communiti es in Uganda. The project follows the Government of Uganda's Sett lement Transformati on Agenda (STA).

The Government of Uganda (the Recipient), represented by the Office of the Prime Minister (The Project Executi ng Agency) received a grant from the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany, represented by German Federal Ministry of Development and Economic Cooperation (BMZ) through KFW, in the amount of Euro 10 Million towards the cost of the Refugee Response Fund.
