Kyagulanyi starts campaigns in West Nile

The National Unity Platform (NUP), Presidential candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine, is expected to start his Presidential campaigns in West Nile, on Tuesday.  

Kyagulanyi is expected to campaign in Pakwach, Nebbi and Arua. 

In Pakwach, he is expected to address his supporters at Pakwach Town Hall, while in Nebbi, Kyagulanyi will address his supporters at Nebbi Town secondary school playgrounds.

Security has been heightened in the two districts with the presence of both the military and the police on the streets. 

Pakwach Resident District Commissioner (RDC), Swaib Toko and his counterpart in Nebbi, Christopher Omara, said they will not allow processions to take place.
 
A number of supporters have been denied access to the venue after they failed to show up with facemasks, which are a must-have, as long as one is in a public place.
