Ugandan Volleyball star Daudi Okello is confident his team will come out of their slump after they lost 3-2 to the KB Stars; their third loss of the season and second in a week.

The Uganda outside hitter believes these results are a learning curve since it is the first time they are facing some of these teams this season.

"We lost some games, away games but it's normal since it's the beginning of the season. In the start you don't know who is who until you play the first round which is done now," Daudi said.

The loss (31-29, 15-25, 25-19, 20-25, 19-17) is perhaps indicative of the Skywalkers' fighting ability but it has only pushed them further away from the KB Stars who lead the table with 13 points.

Regardless of the average showings, Okello produced 34 points in the loss which shows he is still on an upward trajectory in the Korean Volleyball League.

"I am better than last season because I am more confident and consistent," he admitted.

Okello has made many kills and also has shown that he can defend better with his blocks.

Regardless of the poor performances this week, the Skywalkers remain confident for the season ahead.
