The heavy downpour currently being experienced countrywide has continued to affect businesses while destroying crops, animals and other property.
In Kikuube district, Lake Albert burst its banks and caused devastation around Songa Landing Site.

Houses and crops were destroyed after the lake extended almost 1km outside its original boundary.
Many displaced people were left stranded, including passengers who were planning to cross the lake to DR. Congo or to Panyamur.
