10-year-old killed, body dumped in well

The body of a 10-yearold girl, Sharon Namukasa, who went missing on Monday from her home in Kisala village, Kisala sub-county in Kyankwanzi district, was Wednesday (October 28, 2020) found dumped in a well in a neighbouring village.

The village LC1 chairperson, Niyoyi Faustino, said Namukasa, a Primary Four pupil, left home on Sunday (October 25, 2020) at around 3:00pm to collect firewood but never returned.

Namukasa's mother, Jackie Nyilaniza, asked her residents in the area to help her search for her daughter.  

Vienne Halera, the deceased's father, said the Police did not help in the search since their daughter got lost.

Residents were left in shock after finding the body of the girl wrapped in sack and dumped in the well.
