Former Bujenje county MP Fox Kahebwa has died

Bishop Kasangaki has described Kahebwa’s death as a big loss not only to his family but the entire diocese.

Former Member of Parliament for Bujenje County in Masindi district, Fox Kahebwa has died.

Kahebwa died at Mulago hospital on Monday evening where he had been admitted with high blood pressure.

"The deceased who has been battling the sickness for a long time was taken to Mulago hospital five days ago but his condition deteriorated and was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), where he died at 3:00 pm," Wilson Kusemererwa, Kahebwa's brother told New vision.

Kusemererwa said  Kahebwa's body is still in Mulago hospital awaiting transfer to his ancestral home in Kityedo village, Bikonzi sub-county, Masindi district where he will be buried on a yet to be known date.

The late was a CA delegate for Bujenje County from 1994 to 1996, served as the deputy speaker Masindi district, and has been the NRM chairperson for Bwijanga Sub County and advisor to the Bishop of Masindi Kitara diocese George William Kasangaki among other responsibilities.

Bishop Kasangaki has described Kahebwa's death as a big loss not only to his family but the entire diocese.

"Kahebwa has worked for the diocese and greatly contributed to its development," added Kasangaki.

Kaheebwa has been also a prominent sugar cane farmer in Masindi district.
