Taxi operators to canvass votes for NRM

The leadership of taxi drivers in Kampala including Uganda Transport Development Agency (UTRADA), KOTSA, and UTODA have launched a task force dubbed 'Museveni Kuntikko' which has made a commitment to hunt for support for President Yoweri Museveni to win the 2021 general elections.

During the launch of this task force at Sibyangu Hotel in Nateete on Monday, the chairman of UTRADA Mustapha Mayambala explained that the task force will apply several approaches including talking to passengers about the NRM and Museveni and why they should vote for him come 2021.

Mayambala praised Museveni for having listened and as well defended the work of taxi drivers even at the toughest time when KCCA wanted to throw them out of the city.

He further pointed out the numerous road construction works making their work as taxi drivers smooth.
