Muloni takes another crack at Bulambuli seat

She promised to prioritise women and youth empowerment

After losing in the 2016 elections, former minister for energy and mineral development Eng. lrene Muloni of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) was nominated for the Bulambuli district woman MP seat.

She promised to follow up on all government programs and continue with her developmental plans for her electorate. 

Muloni who hailed her supporters for entrusting her with a mantle to represent them when they overwhelmingly voted for her in the primaries, said she was back in the race for service. 

"I will continue from where I stopped and this time around expect a lot more. I will use my connections in the government and the outside world to lobby developmental programmes for my people," Muloni said. 

She promised to prioritise women and youth empowerment, job creation through skills development, health, and elderly people. 

Promotion of tourism, environment conservation to mitigate landslides, and rural electrification among other priorities.
