Eremu, who is an independent candidate, will tussle it out with Veronica Isaac Eragu (NRM), Julius Peter Emigu (FDC) and Matthew Okello (independent).

Nine parliamentary candidates were nominated in Kaberamaido district by the district returning officer, Charles Bashaija.

For Kaberamaido County, three candidate were nominated and these are Alfred Edakasai Elalu Olale (NRM), Isaac Lee Epaku Ogela (UPC) and Paul Edyau (independent).

This will be the second time Epaku, Edayu and Olale are contesting to represent Kaberamaido County.

For Woman MP, those nominated were Jane Frances Amongin and Leah Nantalo, both independent candidates. Amongin lost in the recent NRM primaries and opted to run as an independent.
