Nsibambi given dignified send-off

The burial started with a service presided over by Canon Augustine Magala Musiiwuufu, who asked Christians to emulate the Christian Commitment and legacy of the Nsibambi family.

CELEBRATING LIFE 

Janet Nakku Nsibambi, a veteran primary educationist and Christian philanthropist has been laid to rest at Buloba Church of Uganda.

Nakku, who passed on in the US on September 28, aged 94, was the sister of the late Prof Apollo Robin Nsibambi, Uganda's former premier.

Her burial (on Thursday, October 15) was graced by prominent citizens who included Uganda's Attorney General William Byaruhanga, Senior presidential Adviser John Nagenda, Captain Mike Mukula and Hon Kaddu Kiberu among several others. Veteran musicians such as Afrigo Band's Moses Matovu, Hope Mukasa and Said Kasule also grace the function.

Other clerics who graced the function were Canon Justus Miwanda Njagala, Rev Samuel Kibirango, Rev Samuel Ssennyanja and Rev James Nsubuga.
