RELATIONSHIPS

A  gentleman from Burundi decided to surprise his sweet heart with a proposal for marriage at Kaazi Beach Resort, a hotel on the shores of Lake Victoria, 30 minutes from Entebbe Airport.

The Coronavirus has brought lots of gloom in the world. So anything little to brighten our lives is welcome. The gentleman popularly called Bizu dressed in white was walking around the pool area, with a flower tucked behind his back. The story of love and happiness resonates with all of us.

The bride-to be was dressed in a beautiful black dress and  high heels. Choosing to marry someone is a lifelong commitment to respect, honor, and cherish that person.

As most hearts were pounding around to see, the outcome of the proposal Bizu went down on his knee to ask  for his girlfriend's hand in marriage.

The wind was calm. The rolling green hills gave way to the broad expanse of Lake Victoria. Beautiful birds flew across the lake, while small boats darted nearby.

With a jazz artist standing by, Bizu made the proposal. He presented the flower, which the lady accepted. A jazz love song blared as tears of happiness rolled down the woman's cheeks. "Will you marry me my love," asked Bizu. She turned away, walked away slowly  leaving everyone in suspense.

"Yes, my love" responded the lady as she closed her eyes with two hands. He then pulled out what looked like a diamond ring and placed it on her finger. They locked into what looked like an everlasting embrace.

Soon they were dancing slowly to the jazz love song. The friends of the couple screamed and pooped up flowers and drinks.
The bright sunlight in the evening at the beach brightened the romantic evening.

Many beach goers watched the couple celebrate. Thereafter the couple and friends settled down to have dinner as the sun set at the beach.
