8th October 2020

Dear Colleagues
I greet you all. I am writing to inform you that today 8th October 2020, I have submitted my resignation from the Position of Ag DVC (F & A) to the appointing authority. I have done this for personal and family reasons and it takes immediate effect. I have also withdrawn my candidature from the on going Search process for the Substantive position of DVC (F & A).

I wish to thank you all for the support you rendered to me as I served and made a contribution to our great university. For those that I could have offended while I executed my duties I sincerely apologise.

I would like to believe that together we can make a bigger Contribution so that we leave no room to be judged by History.
Sincerely

Dr William Bazeyo
Professor of Occupational Medicine.
