The 2019/20 Stanbic Uganda Cup season has been cancelled.

This was one of the decisions the FUFA executive committee made regarding the immediate future of football competitions and events based on the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic.

"There will be no further action in the Uganda Cup 46th edition. FUFA and the sponsor will soon announce the sponsorship details," read part of the communication from FUFA.

Despite the cancellation, teams like KCCA FC and Proline among others had reached the quarterfinals while others were yet to play the round of 16 matches.

However, with KCCA FC already having been tapped by FUFA to represent Uganda in the 2020/21 CAF Confederation Cup, playing the remaining games for Uganda Cup was just for pride.
