Government avails cheap house plans

As the world commemorates the World Habitat Day, Government has developed cheap house plans for Ugandans to buy.

Dave Khayangayanga, the director for housing at the Ministry of Lands and Housing Development Monday told journalists at the Media Centre that the plan costs about sh20,000 to sh50,000.

Khayangayanga said this in a statement he read on behalf of Dr. Chris Baryomunsi (MP), the Minister of State for Housing, in the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development. House plans from private architect firms costs between sh500,000 to sh3m.
