Birigwa to impose law against churches if elected as president

One of the FDC 2021 elections presidential flag bearer, Wasswa Birigwa, has vowed to impose a law against churches which he accuses of siphoning monies out of church goers.

This he says he will do if he becomes the head of state.

Birigwa noted that a number of people had been impoverished by such gesture, which he cannot tolerate .

The FDC presidential aspirant also vowed to uplift the people's poor economic and social services which he said were in sorry state.

"I want to see that whoever is in Uganda enjoys it the same way like everybody," he said.

He was speaking during the joint presidential candidates meeting at the party headquarters in Kampala.
