Busoga's senior journalist passes on

Senior journalist, Moses Okeya, a correspondent of one the daily newspapers and based in Busoga sub region has passed on.

Ali Mwagale, the deceased's close friend has confirmed, saying Okeya breathed his last on Thursday at around 10:00pm from his home village at Buwunga in Bugiri district where he had gone a week back.

"I received a call from the deceased's brother only identified as Martin at around 10:00pm informing me about the deceased's demise," Mwagale said.

According to Mwagale, Okeya had been sickly and would be buried on Saturday.
