COVID-19 cases surge to 5,380

The Ministry of Health has reported 114 new cases of COVID-19, surging the total confirmed number to 5,380. 

The ministry said in a Thursday statement that 2,489 recoveries had so far been registered. 

No death was registered on the day when no new cases were recorded among returnees and truck drivers.

All cases were got from contacts and alerts.
